The following items represent a sampling of efforts, initiatives and programming developments related to diversity and inclusion on the 51做厙 campus since 2013. All programs are ongoing unless noted.

  • 51做厙 welcomes the first cohort of six students in the . In an effort to foster a diverse, inclusive, scholarly climate, the program is designed to provide an opportunity for scholars with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives as they pursue tenure track appointments at 51做厙 or other institutions.
  • The Office of Diversity, Inclusion & Equity hosts a town hall update on the implementation of the Creative Ideas for Impact. The town hall is held in the Circle, the newly-established antiracism education center.
  • Marcon Institute Hosts Inaugural Conference
  • For the fifth consecutive year, recognized 51做厙's outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion on a national level.

  • Office of Multicultural Affairs hosts the first weekend retreat for 51做厙s BIPOC population
  • Large gift establishes the Marcon Institute which is dedicated to research and study that influences perspectives, practices and policies on racial justice.
